Judy Raugewitz (Bradbury), COTA/L, LMT; NCTMB

Myofascial Practitioner

Judy is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and a Licensed Massage Therapist. She has been practicing Myofascial Release since 2002. She has been in a variety of settings including inpatient hospital, outpatient rehab and her own practice. She opened her first office in 2005 to treat clients using the John F Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach and has seen remarkable improvements in her clients through the years.

Judy is a highly trained therapist in Myofascial Release by John Barnes P.T., LMT, founder of the Myofascial Release Approach. She is an Instructor for the Myofascial Release Seminars Nationwide and has been a staff therapist at “Therapy on the Rocks” in Sedona, AZ one of John Barnes’ Myofascial Release treatment centers helping people from all over the world.

Judy became interested in Myofascial Release while working in a local hospital as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She took her first Myofascial Release class in 2002 while working at a local hospital in Occupational Therapy. It quickly became apparent to her that these techniques were long-lasting and more profound for her clients than any other she had been taught. During this time of training, a family member was diagnosed with Degenerative Disk Disease, Spondylosis, and Arthritis. Three separate spine specialist told him he would need two separate surgeries to alleviate the pain. He would need one surgery to remove C7 and place a cage in that spot and a second surgery to fuse L1.

Judy quickly saw to it that he go get treated with Myofascial Release at one of John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Treatment Centers, “Therapy on the Rocks” in Sedona, AZ prior to surgeries. He was there for 3 weeks for intensive treatment. He returned home with no pain and no longer required surgery…and returned to an active, pain-free life.

Myofascial Release has changed Judy’s life both professionally and personally many times through the years as Judy, herself, has needed treatment for pain relief from bulging disks, arm and leg pain and has found help with this form of treatment.

Rick Raugewitz, PT

Physical Therapist

I have over 40 years of experience in physical rehabilitation.

I graduated from University of Kansas in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.  I have worked in Acute Hospital Settings, Outpatient, Sports Medicine, Industrial Medicine, Home Health and Skilled Nursing Facilities.  Throughout those years I continued to learn and apply a wide variety of therapeutic techniques to help people with acute and chronic injuries.

In 2005 I began learning the John F. Barnes’, Myofascial Release techniques.  Once I started using these techniques on my patients it became apparent that this form of therapy was getting to the root of their pain and restrictions. Treatment became considerably more effective.   I have made Myofascial Release and working with the fascial system the foundation of my treatments.  That began a journey of expanding my knowledge in other manual therapies such as: visceral mobilization, neural mobilization, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, and other holistic techniques.

Listening to the body’s messages and support the body’s inherent healing process is key.  I am able to use my considerable knowledge base, skill and experience with a wide range of tools and techniques to address each person’s unique needs.
